AR experiments

Adding a layer of information to our world is extremely exciting and I love seeing how people react when foreign objects enter the real world.

Weather animation

After designing the whole screen on Figma, I exported the assets to AE using AEUX. I animated all parts and exported 3 PNG sequences. I assembled everything together on Aero and moved the layers for added depth. The sun animation was made in Blender and exported using Eevee.

Walk along any path

Using both loop animation and path animation on the same character, I created a walk that can potentially follow any path (as long as flat). This means rigging the whole walk isn’t necessary, saving a lot of time.

Maffrog

After being selected for a research study for SparkAR I decided to make a math game. The initial idea was quite simple but while making the game I encountered many obstacles. I used Blender to make the 3D pond and Figma for the UI. I placed everything on SparkAR and made the logic behind the game using JavaScript (Atom).

Vine quiz

Making quizzes on SparkAR isn't easy but it's so rewarding. I used viral Vines for this quiz. Made the UI on Figma, then imported the assets on SparkAR and added a "score" logic with Javascript. The filter got over 200K impressions but got disabled after about 4 months because it "wasn't respecting community guidelines".

What plant are you?

Surfing the trend of "What ____ are you?" filters, I decided to make my own version of "What plant are you?". This filter was really easy to make but it was still rewarding seeing many people on Instagram having fun using it.
